Services

Km Industrial has expanded our service department to include service of all CNC machines (metal cutting). Regardless of the make, model, or year of your machine, our experienced technicians can put their experience to work for you.

We currently have two technicians available for repair services.

Steve Byers

Steve Byers

Retired Navy Master Chief, Aviation Maintenance Technician who has been working in the industry as a CNC Service Engineer for the past 12 years.

Steve has expertise with (but not limited to):

  • Fixing Milltronics CNC milling machines, lathes and controls as a factory trained technician
  • Routinely providing application and programming training
  • Operating linear Optodyne Lasers as a qualified operator
  • Teaching as an adjunct instructor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Southwestern Michigan College

Brian Nilges

A Journeyman Machine Repair Technician since 12/1999. His ten years experience as a machine tool field service engineer working as both manufacturer representative and dealers has brought valuable depth to our service department.

Brian has experience (but isn't limited to):

  • As a factory trained technician with Chiron mills
  • As a factory trained technician with Siemens 840C and 840D controls
  • Geometry alignment on machining centers
  • In industrial electrical systems, PLC’s, relay logic, servo drives, inverters, measuring systems, digital readouts, power supplies.

We recognize that on occasion a repair may require the support of a factory representative. If the repair is beyond our capabilities, we will advise you of this in a timely manner.
